Cleaning my house!

And have you seen the new Pledge commercials (the one with the lady in the box)? They crack me up! Having seasonal allergies, a dog and a cat I use Pledge all the time on my furniture.
Pledge removes up to 84% of allergens from dust mites to pet dander found in dust.
It also makes my semi-new dining room set shine! Which I need after I have to clean off the peanut butter, jelly, syrup, and macaroni and cheese! I use it on the table and ALL the chairs as well!
It dries quick, leaves no waxy residue and smells like lemons, ahhh.

Tales of Tanya
In Kindergarten I had a male teacher whom did not really know what he was doing so it was an interesting year. I attended all six years with my cousin Jaime.
We were more like sisters as we were only born 8 days apart. We had our share of sibling: rivalry in school. During elementary school we were not even allowed to be in the same class together! I remember once we were in 4th or 5th grads and we both were in the nurses office at the same time. We weren't sick. We ended up getting sent back to class because we were kicking each other from the beds we were laying in! Since I attended Sherman the school has been torn down and rebuilt. So nothing is the same! Both Little Man and Little Princess will probably attend the new Sherman Elementary.
My favorite teacher in elementary school was Mrs. Rosamond. I remember farting during library class once. I was so embarrassed but the librarian told everyone to look up a book on bodily functions!
We had a play while I was in elementary school of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." I don't remember what part I played.
I also recall a talent show where me and some friends dances to the song, "Walk the Dinosaur" by Was (Was Not).
New Kids on the Block was the cool band while in 5th grade too!

Blueberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake

1 cup butter, softened
2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 5/8 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar for dusting
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 inch Bundt pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the sour cream and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into the batter just until blended. Fold in blueberries.
Spoon half of the batter into the prepared pan. In a small bowl, stir together the brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans. Sprinkle half of this mixture over the batter in the pan. Spoon remaining batter over the top, and then sprinkle the remaining pecan mixture over. Use a knife or thin spatula to swirl the sugar layer into the cake.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a knife inserted into the crown of the cake comes out clean. Cool in the pan over a wire rack. Invert onto a serving plate, and tap firmly to remove from the pan. Dust with confectioners' sugar just before serving.

Truvia, What's your New Year resolution?

Next, they steep the leaves, much like making tea, that begins the process of capturing rebiana, the best tasting part of the stevia plant. Ultimately, this little leaf gives back a recipe for sweetness that's both delicious and zero-calorie guilt free.
What are the ingredients in Truvia™ natural sweetener?
Truvia™ natural sweetener is made from rebiana, the best tasting part of the stevia leaf, erythritol and natural flavors. Erythritol is a sugar alcohol, a carbohydrate found naturally in several fruits. Erythritol doesn't lead to tooth decay, is safe for people with diabetes and in reasonable amounts does not lead to gastrointestinal side effects (in other words, no gas or bloating). I have lots of problems with this since being pregnant!
It basically comes down to taste. Some people prefer the taste of natural sweeteners as opposed to artificial ones. Some prefer the origin too. Truvia™ natural sweetener is natural and versatile, which makes it something everyone can enjoy.

Tales of Tanya
When I was in late elementary and early middle school my grandma had a small house on Anderson Island. We used to go over there on the weekends and sew and play around. It was a small house more of a cabin. There were two bedrooms. One had bunk bed sand the other had two double beds next to each other. One day I was chasing my grandma's cockapoo, Bruno, around the house. It was set up in a circle. If you had all the doors open you could literally run around the house in a circle. So I was chasing the dog, then the dog would chase me. Running completely around the house meant jumping from one double bed to the next then down to the ground. And down to the ground is exactly what I did. It was my ankle. They took me to the fire department which was completely volunteer. They did not think it was broken but wanted to send me on the next ferry back to the mainland for an x-ray. We made a lot of people mad waiting in the ferry line. It was a holiday weekend which meant you normally had to wait in the ferry line for a couple trips just to get on. The fire department made sure we were the first on the ferry. We went to the urgent care on the mainland and they determine by x-ray it was just a bad sprain and gave me crutches. One the way back on the ferry. I was caught by the same fireman who helped us out on the island, hoping down the ferry line on one foot. He was not happy with me!
