Second Best Going Home Gift

So obviously the BEST going home gift from the hospital in March was our adorable, healthy, baby girl.

The SECOND best going home gift I got was the NEW 2-IN-1 SLEEPSACK SWADDLE from Halo. Now I am sure you are thinking of course she is saying this it was free. Well yes it was free from the hospital. I have seen and heard of Halo Sleepsacks for years now. But Halo has created something that has helped Little Princess sleep better and stay warmer!
The Sleepsack Swaddle allows infants to sleep more soundly by snugly wrapping their arms within, which prevents the startle reflex.
Even better yet the 2-in-1 Sleepsack Swaddle is intended to swaddle infants from the time they leave the hospital and also allows parents to remove the swaddle feature when no longer needed and use its Sleepsack wearable blanket alone, hence the 2-in-1!
The Sleepsack Swaddle replaces loose blankets for safer sleep and reduces the risk of re-breathing, which has been associated as possible cause of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
Halo also donates a percentage of all purchases to First Candles/SIDA Alliance to support medical research, education and family services. The American Academy of Pediatrics (APA), along with First Candles/SIDS Alliance, using wearable blankets to reduce the risk of SIDS.
Now for the features:
  • Soft, Adjustable Fastener Strips. Adjusts to growing babies and keeps them comfortable all night long.
  • Micro-Fleece/100% Cotton. Material wicks moisture and breaths so there is less overheating. Fabric is durable through many washings.
  • Sack Design. Babies can't kick off covers so they stay warm and comfortable all night long. Generous fit makes it easy for baby to move and kick legs, which promotes healthy hip development.
  • Positioners on back. Allow positioning of Swaddle for "arms-in" or "arms-out" use. They also prevent Swaddle from being placed too high on the body near the baby's face.
  • Special Design. Prevents excess fabric from gathering near baby's face.
  • Inverted Zipper. Zips from top to bottom so it's harder for baby to unzip, and the zipper won't catch on baby's chin. Easy to change diaper without disrobing baby.
  • Flame-resistant. Tested to meet U.S. children's sleepwear flame-resistant standards.
So needless to say when I got home and figured out how wonderful these were I quickly asked a friend to stop by and buy me a couple more!
I then contacted Halo and told them how much I love this product. Halo was nice enough to send me one Sleepsack Swaddle to giveaway to one of my readers!
